Have you ever seen a lone shoe sitting in the middle of the road, lounging on the side walk, or suspended from a traffic light pole (yes, I really have seen one there before) and wondered: how did it get there? And what happened to its pair?

Or maybe it's just me. ;)

First a plane crash in upstate New York last night and now a jet crash in London? (Thank goodness there were only 4 minor injuries in the latter; wish the same could be said about the former.)

Not to be all superstitious, but remind me never to fly on a Friday the 13th . . .

I never knew such a thing was possible.

But today's been a good day.

So much to be happy about!

I dislike cleaning. I dislike cooking for myself. I dislike doing laundry. I dislike almost all things related to housework.

I would much rather read or laze around than anything else.

I was riding home yesterday evening in what was a typically cramped train. Right before a stop, a woman who'd previously been sitting stood up.
